Using Songs to Engage Students
Today, we learned the difference between common and proper nouns. Anytime I can, I love to use engaging videos to introduce students to the lesson. Below is a video students begged me to watch again!

I can't help but smile when I hear my students singing along and this song was no different! Although it got stuck in my head all day, I think it helped them remember the phonics sound "aw" and they'll for sure tell you that "aw's really awesome"!

Who knew you could sing along with math? Well, measuring can be quite fun when you get to!
